Not Changing the filament after the purge

Hi everyone, I just found out about the RPM, so I decided to give it a go, i've been having nightmare with the MMU until now and i'm really hoping that the RPM shall change that !

I followed the google sheet to assemble it, install it and now i'm having some issues with the slic3r i guess "prusaslicer"

I'm trying my first print with the RPM but when it does the purge after the 1st blop the filament doesn't change... 

It doesn't go to the next color, so here i am asking for any ideas ( my knowledge is quite basic i have some experience with 3D printer but i've never really played with GCODE in tool change and those sort of things)

Also I was looking around I couldn't find the answer, how can I determine the number of blops required for a good color transition before starting printing again ? I know it depends from which color it changes.

Hi @nicosmind,

1 or 2 blobs is good for most filament when using an mmu.

Can you please attach the gcode output? I need to see if the code is in the right places.

We checked over the code and it looks good except for 1 line that should be removed:
"(Replace tip shaping section if doing Vintagepc tip shaping)"
Otherwise it should trigger the MMU switch. Please try that change as per the attached image and let us know if it works.

Hi @bigbrain3d, thanks for your help ! Indeed it was that now it works, except that I have the common problem with the over extrusion as you already talked about
