I have the official kit and parts and printed the recommend MK3 changes (2 parts thing: 4049252, grey printed parts in post). The installation and assembly went smoothly but when I manually moved the X axis to contact the purge mechanism it is not aligning at all with the hotend. Did anyone else run into this? Its a stock MK3 almost feel like the mount that attaches to the Prusa with the screw holes is too long.

Way behind the thumbtack

Oddly if the pinda probe wire is in the way the mechanism can extend somewhat properly (still misalinged) but if the wire is moved out of the way it fails to extend as far

Thanks!

Hey! What would be the best way to upload a photo?

Maybe this will work?

I also can't raise my Pinda anymore and can see that it is making contact in some spots which also doesnt seem normal.

Thanks for the speedy response!

@msm

I was able to view those images.

The cable for the PINDA is in the way. The action arm should not press on it.

You will need to loosen the PINDA screw and rotate the probe counterclockwise so that the cable twists out of the way.
Then redo your first layer calibration.

@msm

and attached is a lower height connecting arm that should also help with that clearance issue.

@msm

and attached is a longer action arm which allows the catcher to reach further.
