Are you doing progress on fixing the flat surface issues? @BigBrain3D

Tilting my models for 1° to avoid flat surfaces does not yield pretty results.

it's been sevenish months.  Have you fixed the flat surface problem yet?  It's about useless without this!

What's up guys? Is this the end? Development stopped? No updates in forever. I can't print any Fab365 models. It fills in all the slots and holes. I can't in good conscious recommend the program anymore on my social media. If its over, just tell us.

We've got a development version working with the fix for flat horizontal surfaces and holes. We're working on releasing it this week. Much testing is required.

Good news/bad news situation for me. Model with holes that I had previously uploaded seem to slice OK. The holes do not fill in. HOWEVER, I cannot upload any new models. I created a simple slab with holes to test, but the model won't upload, it gets stuck on repairing. I then tried to upload the .stl file of a model I already had loaded in SC3D to essentially write over it, and it too gets stuck repairing. I tried several other models as well. Something broke. Attached is a file that was already loaded but won't upload now.

I just discovered another problem. I have a FAB365 model of a Porsche with an annular hole. There is an annular space between the wheel shaft and the car body. Previously SC3D would fill this space in and make it solid (and unusable). Now, it clips the wheel shaft and creates a big hole (unusable). This was a previously loaded model that I re-split since I can't upload any new ones yet. See picture..

Seems that the repair script didn't get released with this update. The issue with repairing models has been fixed now.

Spoke too soon.  It times out trying to split this piece with almost all flat surfaces!  🙁

Spoke too soon.  It times out trying to split this piece with almost all flat surfaces!  🙁  I don't know if you get it in the 2 colors.  PROPER NOISE is blue on top and sides.  The area inside the small rectangle is blue.  The PN and everything else is white.

I think there is something wrong with the model. Did you make it yourself? All the pieces must be 1 model. Maybe the extrusions don't touch?...If you send me the STEP file I can take a look.

No, they are not all one!  I'll combine them and try again.  Thanks.  Didn't know that.
